Remote Data Access
The Akula Server lets you configure connections to back-end data sources through an app scope running on the Akula Server. Client apps can then make requests to the app scope to access the back-end data source.
One of the main features of the Akula Server is its authentication and authorization mechanism. That mechanism validates a user's credentials and controls user access to the resources controlled by an app scope, including data sources. For example, you can configure a back-end data source to allow read access from any client app user, but allow write access to only certain users.
