Connecting to an Authentication Realm
An authentication realm defines the collection of users and groups that can be authenticated by the Akula Server. For example, you can use Active Directory as your authentication realm.
The authentication realm can contain more than just user credentials and group assignments. For example, a realm can contain the first, last, and full name of the user. If that information is available, the Akula Server can return it to the client on a successful log in.
This section describes the following topics:
- Using Active Directory Server as an Authentication Realm
- Using a JDBC Database as an Authentication Realm
